Hello XXXXXXX
When did you start taking Vitamin E? Have you noticed any improvement with it?
Vitamin E deficiency can cause muscle spasms perhaps due to this your doctor advised this medication.
Have you ever done vitamin D and vitamin B12 test?
Do you know your hemoglobin level?
Yes, electrolyte imbalance also like low level of serum potassium can cause muscle cramps, low calcium level also can cause it. Hence your doctor advised for tests to take next step.
Here, without clinical examination and investigations it is difficult to say it is vitamin E deficiency or any other deficiency.
Kindly get back to me with details.
Thank you.

I was given Evion from today morning itself. So has not even been 12 hours. No I have not done any of these tests and am not aware of my b12 pottasium or haemglobin levels.
I just had a sleeping pill in the morning and went to sleep( after getting no sleep all night) and woke up early evening. It is better. Cramps in my leg are less frequent but sometimes im getting a sharp pain in my chest and sometimes forehead.
In July this month i had this sensation for 2-3 days (I was then in the UK) . On thar occassion however there were less cramps and more heart flutters with bouts of pain in neck, coupled with diziness. I was so paranoid i had to rush myself to a hospital. They did ecg and blood tests on me and found nothing. The doctor said you may imbalance of electrolytes and prescribed some pills for it. After that occassion I had completely forgotten abt till now, the last 2 days

Please tell me how i should proceed and if i need to do any tests

Brief Answer:
May be electrolyte imbalance

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for your detailed information.

At your age heart stroke is unlikely. Your ECG is also found normal and you dcotor would have examined physically and heart sounds to find any abnormal heart sounds. He runned some tests which found nothing. That means your doctor might have not found any heart related problems hence he suggested Vitamin E medication.
If your symtoms not related to heart realted then it may be due Elctrolytes imbalance or panic attack (Which will be last option).
I would like to know what all blood tests done, please attach reports.
Do you have overweight?
Are you taking any medication before this episode?
Do you have any history of low blood pressure?

Is your doctor a cardilogist? If yes, then I suggest you follow up him regualrly. If your symptoms persisit then go for blood tests like serum sodium, potasssium, calcium, vitamin d and vitamin B12.

I suggest you drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
Avoid vigorous physical activity.

Thank you
