Brief Answer:
it is a side effect of acyclovir

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Diarrhea is a possible side effect of acyclovir, it is not a known complication of sudafed.
There are also no known interactions between the medications.

This means that it is likely the acyclovir that is causing your symptoms.

You can try to use probiotics to see if this helps. These are sometimes used to combat side effects of medications.
Can be used on their own or in some yogurts.

In addition, you can consider trying peptobismol to see if this decreases the cramps and diarrhea.

For now, if the course of acyclovir is not prolonged, you should use small amounts of dry foods along with a lot of fluids to replace the fluid being loss with the diarrhea.

If you still cannot tolerate the acyclovir then you may try an alternative anti viral such as valacyclovir.
This can also cause diarrhea is some persons but it is possible that you may react differently.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
