Brief Answer:
Take medication after a sonogram.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.

If you have never had a period delayed for so long, with repeated negative pregnancy tests, your next action should be a clinical evaluation and a trans-vaginal sonogram.

If pregnancy is thus excluded, your doctor can prescribe you progesterones to induce a period. The medication is usually given for 3-5 days and withdrawal bleeding is expected 3-7 days after completion of treatment.

Considering your age, hormone imbalance is another possible reason for this delay. Infections, especially of the urinary tract and the pelvis, weight disturbances and stress also can cause such a delay in the natural period.

Hope your query has been answered. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
