What Causes Delay In Menstrual Bleeding After Taking An I-pill?
Question: i have not got my periods and when tested for pregnancy it shows invalid once. Negative once. Normally i get my periods on time and this time its delayed by 10 days. I have also taken i-pill 30 days back 5 hrs after intercourse. I am not sure of my situation. I would want to take a preventive medicine not to get pregnant. I am 45 years old and also take Thyriod medication. Can you please advice My email YYYY@YYYY

If you are unsure of your pregnancy status then you may get a serum beta HCG test done to rule out pregnancy conclusively. If the HCG levels are less than 5mIU then you are surely not pregnant.
The delay could then be just a side effect of the ECP used where next 1-2 cycles are often delayed or this could just be stress induced.
