Hello - that depends on where you are feeling the pain. If it is in your left upper quadrant of the abdomen, where the stomach is, then no it is not implantation pain.

Brief Answer:
Information

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

If there is pain on the right side low down there are a few possibilities of what this could be:

1. If it is bad pain, or increasing pain, and if you have an appendix, it can be appendicitis. But appendicitis usually is accompanied by some nausea, and the pain increases with walking or being XXXXXXX If any of this applies, then please go in to be seen.

2. It could be a cyst on the right ovary. After ovulation, the place where the egg came off of the side of the ovary can produce what is called a "functional cyst". It isn't harmful, is small but can give twinges and aches. After awhile the body just reabsorbs the fluid in the cyst. If it grows and causes more aching, then we get an ultrasound to have a look. But these are common, usually resolve on their own, and are not cancerous.

3. Other things can cause ovarian-area pain too (infections, endometriosis, other types of growths) and can be sorted out with a bimanual exam and imaging such as ultrasound.

3. Sometimes bowel gas can cause pain in this area.

What I recommend is if the pain is significant or if it doesn't go away, then it is time to go in to be checked.

I apologize for not having been able to see that you followed up by asking me a questions after asking the XXXXXXX question. I see that you have waited a long time and I am sorry.
