Brief Answer:
You have globus pharyngeus

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

Feeling of something stuck in the throat is called globus pharyngeus.
Gastroesophageal reflux disease commonly called as acid reflux is one of the common causes of globus pharyngeus.
Postnasal drip due to sinusitis is another cause. Anxiety can also cause similar symptoms.
Since you are coughing, the first two causes may be considered.

You can take prilosec for relief.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Regards,
Dr.R.K
