Brief Answer:
fever occurs as part of the body's inflammatory response

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Fever occurs as part of the body's inflammatory response. For example in persons who have surgery, increased temperature can occur in the first 24 to 48 hours because the body is inflamed/irritated, not due to infection

The same applies to the anal fissure, it is a lesion of the anus, there is inflammation/irritation of the area due to this fissure.
This (the inflammation) causes the release of certain chemicals in the body that are responsible for the increase in temperature (histamine, prostagladins, interleukin).

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Thanks but my question is: why i am getting this fever? All people i know have fissures or had fissures at a certain stage but wihtout fever; why in my specific case i am getting this fever that lasts for 24 hrs and goes with just panadol without antibiotics or anything; is it normal to have this inflammation with fissure?or i have to investigate more about it? My specialist requested a very long list of blood tests and after he saw the results he told me everything was normal!

Sorry for asking again but is it possible for some patients that the contact of bowel with the blood of the fissure causes the inflamation? Is this something common or i need to do some tests to investigate the presence of a problem somewhere else? Thanks

Brief Answer:
the fissure itself is the source of the inflammation

Detailed Answer:
HI

Contact between the bowel and the blood associated with the fissure is not the cause of the inflammation.
The fissure itself is a source of inflammation and every person responds differently to inflammation.

The fever is in response to inflammation. If you have a cut on your skin, you may notice the area around the cut appears red/irritated, it is inflamed.

In the same way, the lesion/cut in the anus, would also cause inflammation

Eg-Some persons who have surgery have fever due to inflammation within 24 hours, others do not.
Our body's respond differently to the same trauma, what may happen with you, would not necessary occur with anyone else.

please feel free to ask anything else
