Question: In the last six weeks I have been having these strange feeling around my rectum. The sensation is like a warm feeling that spread around the rectum area, for a brief time and then fades away. I have never had this before and really have no idea what could be causing it. I have normal bowel movements.

Brief Answer:
It is a anal fissure

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thank you for posting your question on Health Care Magic.
Iam sure by describing warm feeling around the rectal area you mean around the anal opening.
Well this warm feeling or burning occurs in may cases like if you have severe constipation or diarrhoea.
There could be a small tear in your mucous membrane around the anus causing this warm feeling.
In active haemorrhoids can also be one of th cause.
If the feeling persists or is very annoying you could sit in a tub of warm water which will ease this out.
I also suggest you to get an examination done by a general surgeon .
Hope this helps
Best wishes
