What Causes Chest Pain While On Ecosprin, Pankreoflat And Pantocid?
Question: Hi Sir
Its been 2 months since I am on your prescribed medication. Following medication is being taken for GERD
1. Rablet L once daily empty stomach
2. Acogut 100mg thrice daily before meal
3. Ecosprin thrice daily
4. Pankreoflat thrice daily before meal
5. Mucaine gel thrice daily before meal
6. Pantocid 40mg once in evening
My overall condition improvement on a scale of 10 is 8.
I only have following symptoms sometimes
1. Little pain in chest once daily with some bloating
2. Little pain in left armpit sometimes
Pls suggest further course of action

Hello my dear patient,
I am happy to hear that you are feeling almost 80% betterment in your problem.
Initial therapy for patient of GERD is for 3 months and only after 3 month we consider tapering off the therapy.
Two changes i would like to make are-
Make mucaine gel 2 tsf twice daily before lunch and dinner
Stop pancreoflat for 5 days
In case if pain increases again then inform me.
To control gas add one tablet rabeprazole 20 mg once in evening time also.
Pain in chest and arm pit area is due to GERD. Acid irritates esophagus and causes inflammation this inflammation is felt like pain in chest and adjoining areas.
