Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

It is important for you and your doctor to determine whether this is really a medical problem or if there really is some type of anxiety going on. If you think there might be some anxiety it is a good idea to sit down with your general doctor to talk about different ways to cope with this. Your doctor might consider referring you to a psychologist or a psychiatrist if he or she thinks you have anxiety.

Anxiety is very common. Almost everyone struggles with it at some point in their lives. If you are experiencing symptoms which might be related to anxiety hopefully your medical doctor can provide you with some good direction. The psychologist or psychiatrist is a medical professional who specializes in management of anxiety to help people gain control over it and hopefully improve any physical symptoms that it might contribute.

At this point I would recommend scheduling a consultation with your general physician to discuss this particular issue. If a referral to a mental health specialist is needed your doctor can provide that.

Thanks again for sending your question. I am confident that you will get on the track to feeling much better in the near future.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga

I don't believe it to be stress or anxiety. It happens when I am sleeping as well and wakes me. I really wanted other ideas of what it could be not anxiety. Pain in chest happens when working out, moving and sometimes with no activity. Wake up without headache but when get up it starts and so does the tingling in feet and hands. Cold on feet and hands seem to take it away. Ideas for what issue could be from NOT anxiety/stress. Also what type specialist to see.
Ps MIR and MRS came back normal they just gave me results.

Thanks for the additional information.

Other considerations include acid reflux. You should talk about this with your doctor. He might consider trying some medication to see if this helps. Otherwise he might send you to a gastroenterologist to take a look inside your esophagus.

Also this could be related to inflammation of the muscles of your chest wall. Again talk about it with your doctor and he might consider prescribing you a short-term medication for that.

Otherwise it is extremely important that you maintain a healthy diet and exercise regimen. You should be exercising at least 5 days per week. If not I would recommend you sit down with your doctor and try to put together and exercise plan. Also make sure that your weight is optimal. If you are overweight it can make these types of things more prolonged.

Sincerely,
