Brief Answer:
Peripheral neuropathy probable.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

That description you make is typical for peripheral neuropathy, damage to the peripheral nerves which causes abnormal unpleasant sensations.

Peripheral neuropathy can have many many causes, such as diabetes, long term alcohol use, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal alterations, metabolic alterations, infections etc. The most common cause is certainly diabetes which could explain the tiredness you feel as well.

Since the causes can be many several tests may be required, starting by testing for most common causes, tests such as blood glucose, HbA1c, electrolytes, creatine kinase, liver and kidney tests, thyroid function, blood count. Apart from blood tests nerve conduction studies are also vital in the diagnosis. Whether further tests are needed depends on the findings. Management depends on the cause which should be addressed.

I remain at your disposal further questions.
