Brief Answer:
Skin infection, following advice. ..

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

I am sorry for the situation you are in.

I have gone through your medical history carefully and the photo you provided and can say that the itchy bumps are due to skin infection.

I did not notice any site of bug bite, but to my opinion, it have started as an unique bump on your arm. When you started to scratch, it has been become larger and coinfected with bacterial infection.

Keep good local hygiene, wash with warm water and soap. Rinse thoroughly, dry well.
Apply gentian violet solution on the affected area. Let it dry.
Then apply a topical ointment containing an antibiotic (neomycin )+antifungal (nystatin ) +hydrocortisone.

Hope you'll be better soon.
If no improvement or symptoms will get worse, should consult with your dermatologist for further evaluation. But I think you will get better within a few days hopefully.
