What Causes Bubbling Sensation In The Abdomen?

default
Posted on Fri, 7 Oct 2016
Question: Internal discomfort. Location: Referring to an abdominal "six pack", approximately on the right side, 1st or 2nd abdominal muscle. Apparently close to the surface, not deep in the torso. Not throbbing "pain". More of a nagging "muscle cramp" type feeling that is uncomfortable. As if "contracting"? Seems to be more pronounced on an empty stomach. May be helpful to know that I'm constantly taking anti-acids pills daily, along with anti-acid liquid as needed, as I can feel the "bubbling" in my stomach when I don't take these measures. Much burping. Not taking the anti-acids seems to lead to a watery stool. Perhaps a colon problem?

Brief Answer:
Please get Ultrasound and LFTs done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Welcome to Health Care Magic and Thank you for your question.
Since when are these problems troubling you?
I suggest you get examined by your GP or a Surgeon and get an Ultrasound Abdomen done. Also get blood tests to know your Liver functions.
I also suggest you stop the Antacid liquid. Acid decreasing tablets are fine. like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole twice a day on empty stomach. Also have Tab Pancreozyme twice a day.
Please get this done and you should be fine.
Most likely it is a small intestinal crampy pain you are having. With the tablets for one to two months you should recover well.
Take care and do let me know if you have any questions about this issue.
