Question: I am being treated for bronchitis. Currently, I am short of breath with back and neck pain. Is this an emergency?

Possibility of recurrence of bronchitis is more in your case.
So better to consult doctor and get done clinical examination of respiratory system, chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection. PFT is must for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
You may need antibiotics, inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid.
So better to consult doctor, first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
