Brief Answer:
Its a disorder and not a mental disease

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

It is better to confirm the findings of the test with a psychiatrist. Please do not make interpretations by yourself. Even if she has borderline personality disorder, it is not a big thing. It is just a disorder of the personality. It is NOT a psychiatric illness that needs medicines.

I am discussing the details about this disorder below:
personality disorders are a product of inborn temperament and subsequent development environment. Whatever circumstances a person faces during growing up may contribute towards it.
It is a common disorder especially in women.
It lasts for a long time if left untreated. With time its symptoms fade away.
The person usually experiences mood swings, marked impulsivity, unstable relationships, suicidal tendencies, feelings of emptiness or boredom most of the time, inappropriate anger.
Behavioral and psychotherapy go on for long time for its management. Sometimes anti-depressants may be prescribed.

Hope it helps.
