What Causes Blurred Vision?

Question: for the second time in about 2 months my left eye suddenly feels as though a veil or a curtain is covering it up completely obstructing my vision. this lasts for about 20 seconds, then the veil appears to lower itself. what is this?

A painless curtain or veil appearing before the eye is commonly seen in retinal detachment.
Besides retinal detachment, diseases of vitreous humor can also cause similar symptom.
No other lesion in the eye will cause similar symptom.
So, I would suggest you to consult an experienced ophthalmologist for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.
