Brief Answer:
Can be hematoma or compromised blood circulation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
After a fracture of pelvis the bluish discoloration of the leg and foot can be due to a hematoma- internal bleeding or compromised blood circulation in the limb. If the muscle strength and temperature of the leg and foot is normal then there is no need to worry. This color will fade away in a week or so.
In case the leg and foot are cold or the muscle strength is decreased then you need to consult his orthopedician for an examination.
I hope this answers your query.
