Brief answer....need to be investigated
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
At your age the most likely cause could be PROSTATITIS ( inflammation of prostate ),prostate enlargement ( BPH ) or after the biopsy of your prostate gland.
Less common reasons could be uncontrolled hypertension, clotting disorders, cancer in prostate, testes or bladder and may be sexually transmitted disease.
However it could just be due to not any disease and may simply be just due to rupture of some fragile veins in prostate while ejaculating.
What to do ...
If it was a first episode, then I would ask you to wait and see.
If the episodes are recurrent, then consult a urologist for detailed evaluation by getting the following done ...physical rectal exam, ultrasound scan, urine examination ,prostate biopsy if needed and may be a CT scan.
At the end I would like to state that many a times,no cause is detected even after detailed evaluation.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
