Question: I was stung by a common jelly fish in Gozo 10 days ago. Bumps/blisters have come up in the last couple of days, they itch like crazy and I don't feel well - tired, achy....

Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.

As you told you have itching I suggest that cetrizine, allegra or fexofenafine once daily. If very severe itching then you be benefited by intramuscular injection of hydroxyzine HCl. If pain then you can take over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If you are having open sores clean them with antiseptic solution 3 times a day and apply antibiotic ointment like soframycin. If wound then you may apply bandage if needed. Keep the area clean. If you develop any difficulty in breathing, palpitations and swelling in body then visit your health care provider.
