Brief Answer:
Urinary tract infection and hemorrhoids.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Most likely you have two condition present at one time.
Blood in urine is usually caused by an infection of urinary tract. You may have frequent urinating, burning while urinating, lower abdominal pain and light fever with this issue.
In rare cases blood in urine can be a first sign of bladder cancer. This condition is more possible if you do smoke.
Blood in the stool in most cases is caused by hemorrhoids. The blood appears on the surface of the stool or on the toilet paper. It is usually bright red. There might be some itching around the anus with this condition.
If the blood is mixed with the stool, other issue like large intestine polyp or even colon cancer can be the reason.

I suggest you to consult your doctor. Urine analysis, blood work, abdominal ultrasound and rectal examination should be done at first. As you are over the age of 50 (the risk of colon cancer significantly rises over 50) colonoscopy should be done even if you have hemorrhoids.

Urinary tract infection can be and should be treated with antibiotics. Cranberry juice is a very good idea. You should also increase mineral water intake.
If its about hemorrhoids, depending of the size of them, you may try some treatment and see if it helps. Please add probiotic and fiber to your diet. Use some OTC suppositories for hemorrhoids. Have sitz baths with Oak Bark twice a day. If this wont help, surgical removal of hemorrhoids might be necessary.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
