Posted on Mon, 10 Nov 2014
Question: I have few very tiny black dots (around 8-10) below the glands around the sulcus. since the penis is uncircumcised, it is very sensitive and gets pain whenever my partner perform oral sex after pulling down the foreskin. however i do not get any pain while having sex with the foreskin on. its only when the foreskin goes down below the glands, it becomes sensitive. can you help me to know whether it is normal

Brief Answer:
May be normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query

The photos are not clear. I cannot make out the dots clearly. I could see in 1 photo redness.
I think it may be normal if present since earlier age and is not enlarging or become red.
The duration, morphology, intercourse history, partner history is not clear.
You can maintain genital hygiene by cleaning area with warm water twice daily.
You can try with topical antibiotics cream like mupirocin if red, painful.

You can get back for clarification with details and clear photos.

Thank you

hello doctor,
i have attached new pics which i feel are more visible. pls have a look and let me know for the below queries.
had 2 girlfriends in the past but had protective sex by using condom while insertion

i have few black dots (4 on the left side and 4 on right side)

i do get smegma formed below the glands and that causes irritation, whenever i get the irritation i clear it off with the water. While the smegma is formed, i could see certain part to be reddish but it disappears in few days after its cleared.

Am also active in masturbation.

the reddish that you saw in the earlier pic was because i rubbed it to see the black spots

please provide clarification for the below
1. what are these black dots. am not sure whether those are birth marks as i never paid attention. are these normal?
2. since the penis is non circumcised, i do get a small pain while having oral sex or if someone touches it. is it normal. is it because the gland is sensitive.
3.if you notice, at the edge of the glands, it is blackish from inside. is it normal
4. is it a sign of penis cancer as recently have been reading article about penis cancer.
5. i do get irritation sometimes but that is due to smegma formed and could also see redish part. but it goes off once its cleaned by water. is it normal?
6. overall after seeing the image and above history what is your impression. is it normal

have uploaded 4 new pics . please have a look and request you to answer above questions.

thanks

Brief Answer:
moles likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

I went through all the photos. It is not melanoma or cancers.
It is most likely moles and is present since earlier days. You need not worry. If it increases in size or changes color or ulcerates then you may need to consult doctor. You may go for biopsy if you desire for diagnosis.

You can get back for any clarification
Thank you

Brief Answer:
normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for follow up query.

Too much rubbing or friction can cause redness.
Just wipe with warm water twice daily if smegma is present. I do not see any abnormalities in penis.
