Brief Answer:
Lip pigmentation, need to find out cause

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understandardd your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
Pigmentation of the lips can occur due to various reasons
The most important cause of pigmentation of the lower lip is due to sun exposure although we need to rule out other causes as well.
I would like to have a look at the exact skin condition. Please click some close up pictures of the affected area and upload them here on this page.
Also please tell if there is any associated itchiness or pain.
What all have you been applying over it?
Did the pigmentation develop all of a sudden or did it slowly increased
Have you recently been taking any medicines
Any darkening over the tongue or inner cheeks?
Any burning sensation while eating hot or spicy food

I am sure I will be able to help you better once you provide me with the pictures and the above details

Brief Answer:
Need to be thoroughly investigated

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I have seen the attached pictures.
You seem to have developed a skin condition called lichen planus over the lips
Since it is a progressive skin condition and might continue to increase, so it is important to get it correctly diagnosed and treated soon
I would advise you to consult a nearby dermatologist so that appropriate investigation can be done to confirm the diagnosis
Direct examination and skin biopsy might be necessary. Also long term treatment with various agents like steroids might be needed to bring the disease under control
In the meantime, you may continue applying the sun block lotion as advised
