Brief Answer: its either due to reflux or fast eating Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX Thanks for writing to XXXXXXX This is Dr. Ashish Verma, a general surgeon, answering to your query. You may be either eating a bit fast, if yes you need to eat slowly then so that you dont aspirate again. Or, are you having a reflux? Like a heart burn? As that can also cause this. If yes, then you need to start on a ppi with levosulpride combination. But as it is a prescription drug, you need to see a local doctor for it. Also get an endoscopy done to look for a hiatus hernia as it is very common with reflux. Hope that i have answered all your queries. If you have further queries, i will be glad to answer them.
