Brief Answer:
Self limiting infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Your niece is having Hepatitis A infection.
It is a self limiting condition.
Complete resolution can be expected in 4-8 weeks.
Her doctors are doing a wonderful job.
PT/INR test report needed and her doctor has ordered for that test and probably the report is not ready.
You can discuss with her doctor about adding liver protective medications like Silymarin in her treatment.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.
