Brief Answer:
If no other symptoms, no need to be concerned.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

A dent in the head after a hit may indicate serious damage, however this needs to be correlated with other symptoms.

There is need for some clarifications such:

- when did you hit the head?
- did you experienced any loss of consciousness?
- any other symptoms such feelling nauseated, vomits, headaches?

If no other symptoms besides dent and soreness to touch, there is no need to worry more than necessary, the dent may be related to soft tissue and maybe a part of skull crushed.

In this case you only need to be aware if other symptoms develop.

If you notice any developing symptoms such ones mentioned above, you need to be evaluated by the nearest Doctor.

Hope this helps.

Take care.
