Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad, I have read your question in detail, I understand your concern and will try to help you in the best possible way.

I would ask you not to worry it is normal in fever that geart rate may increase in fever , for every degree of fever heart rate roughly increases by 10-15 beats per minute.

In order to help you better , I would like you to give me some more information,

I will here by ask you some relevant questions to fill up the information gap.

1) How many PVCS are you getting per minutes?
2) After how many beats you get a PVC?
3) Are you taking enough hydration?
4) Is there pain anywhere in body?
5) Have you been taking your labetalol regularly?

Waiting for your input

Brief Answer:
You don't have to worry about that

Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
Thanks for writing back and answering my question in detail.

Now I will tell you why are you having problems and how to coup up with them.

1) Increased Heart rate:
As i said it is a NORMAL thing in fever , for every 1 degree rise in body temperature heart rate increases by about 10-15 beats.

so at 99-100 temperature you are expected to have almost 20 beats more per minute as compared to your normal base line heart rate.

So I would ask you not to worry about that you will notice that when your temperature will go down, heart rate will go down automatically.

Plus anxiety is also a factor, anxiety you are feeling about your heart rate is creating tachycardia as well. So kindly try to stay calm.

2)PVC's :
You already have issue of PVC since some time so when heart rate is increased you are more prone to get PVC's .

Loss of fluid happens in respiratory infections plus salt imbalance can be there, one also tends to drink less when not feeling well so this also adds up to the problem.

SUGGESTIONS:
Here are some suggestions to counter this problem.

1) Keep calm so that you can relax and tachycardia decreases.
2) Take regular medications so that your infection and fever settles down this will automatically reduce you heart rate and PVC's
3) Take enough water and drink salt replacement fluid or solution without caffeine this will make you feel better and good salt balance will counter PVC's.
4) Take good rest.
5) Take good fluid.
6) Take labetalol regularly this will matter.

I am quite positive that following my suggestions will help you. You don't have to worry just stay calm and things will get better soon.

I hope this answered your questions, if you have more i am happy to answer.

Wish you best of health.

Regards.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
