Question: I have esr 55 and crp 1.1 for 7months with shoulder joints pain and stiffness and was treated with prednisone.
But it did not work and I still have esr and crp the same. My rheumatic factor was negative. One of my doctor told me to consult with a urologist. I had breast cancer and endometrian cancer stage 1A in 2012.

Brief Answer:
4 possible causes

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I would be able to help you.
The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a possible joint condition. Considering that ESR is high I feel it's a rheumatology related issue.
I would suggest a few tests which you need.
an X ray of the affected shoulder is the first step. It will show us where the problem is if it's bone related. According to the report, we may need to visit the orthopedic Dr.
The other test I would suggest is anti ccp. I have had cases I'm my experience with ra negative and anti ccp positive. We can then meet up with a rheumatology Dr again.
then I would need a uric acid. Sometimes, it has atypical presentation.
I would suggest visiting a physiotherapy person to make sure it's not Frozen shoulder in which case physiotherapy is the only option.
I hope that the information helps you .
Please feel free to contact us for more information.
Best of luck.
Dr Mittal.
