What Can I Do About Bloating In The Abdomen, Intermittent Dizziness And Constipation?

default
Posted on Wed, 13 Jan 2021
Question: For the past 5 weeks I have had a bloated abdomen sensation going around to my left side and to my back. full feeling all the time. No diarrhea some constipation. belly feels heavy all the time above my belly button and under my left rib cage. I have diverticulitus but its been many years since I had an outbreak. Ive had over 40 kidney stones in my life. Also feel nauseated a lot but not to the point of vomiting. slightly dizzy sometimes also. No blood in my stool, I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy 3 1/2 years ago and all was negative. Curious what it could be. Symptoms came on over nite back on April 16th 2018. I was wearing a very tight back brace for two weeks from a strained back and on the morning of April 16th I had a pain under my left rib cage, a very strong gassy feeling that was somewhat relieved by taking off the brace. I drank only water for 6 days and most of the pain went away but the bloated feeling remained going around under my rib cage to my back and below my left kidney. Bloated feeling also above and around my belly button remains and my belly seems hard to me. Nothing painful. No bloody stools or diarrhea, just the bloated heavy full feeling like you want to go to the bathroom.

Prilosec stopped the heartburn which was becoming more regular lately but did nothing for the pressure in left side of abdomen going around to my back just below the left kidney. I had an ultrasound of my kidneys about 2 1/2 years ago and it showed many stones in both kidneys but my semi annual blood work shows kidneys are working fine. Last bloodwork was in Feb 2018.
No pain or burning during urination. Frequency is normal since I drink about 2 to 3 liters of water daily. Still have pressure and bloated feeling in my stomach also from belly button to breastbone also. Its almost like someone stuck a ball inside me under my left rib. Nothing painful just irritating.
