Question: What is going on when I can't get a catheter fully into the bladder. It just refuses to go the last 3-4 inches.

Thanks for query .Based on the facts that you have undergone TUNA for enlarged prostate and difficulty that you are getting in passing catheter could be mostly either ue to Stricture urethra or Bladder Neck Stenosis which are known common side effects of this procedure

You need to consult your operating Urologist for evaluation and further management .

Do not try to pass the catheter forcefully as there is risk of injuring urethra and may cause bleeding .
