Question: I have high tryglicirides (150+) and was advised by Doctor to take 1 stator-f tab a day and now flotor-f in place of stator-f. Is these tablets have side effects?

Brief Answer:
Check liver enzyme levels after a month.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.

I am Dr. Jyothi BL and I will be answering your query.

Stator-F is composed of atorvastatin and fenofibrate.

Flotor F should also have similar composition.

Adverse effects are unusual. Liver enzymes can be elevated in few cases. After starting medication, get a liver enzyme study after a month. If its normal, not to worry.

No other major side effects are seen.

If you have any specific symptoms, do let me know.

Otherwise not to worry.
Continue the medication along with a fiber rich diet. Weight reduction and moderate exercises are also important. Avoid alcohol and smoking.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
