There are hospitals which offer premarital medical tests to couples who plan to marry and plan a family.

In males it includes
Complete Haemogram, Blood Group & Rh Typing, RBS, HbA1C, VDRL, HIV, HbsAg, Urine routine, Semen Analysis, Consultation with Urologist.

In females it includes
Complete Haemogram, Blood Group & Rh Typing, RBS, HbA1C, VDRL, HIV, HbsAg, Urine routine, Pelvic Ultra Sound screening, Consultation with Gynaecologist.

The couple is then counselled regarding family planning and enjoying married life.
