The question is not about risk since DVT already exists. The question is what is the effect of medical marihuana on the dvt itself

Marijuana can cause furthter thrombosis, stroke or heart attack.

Hi, dear
I can understand your concern.
Marijuana has negative effects on DVT.
You already has deep vein thrombosis. Marijuana can cause further thrombosis. It can also leads to stroke, myocardial infarction and pulmonary embolism.
So you should avoid marijuana completely if you have DVT.
It affect lung and brain very badly.

You should take lovenox and later on switch on to warferrin. Regularly check your INR and maintain it in between 2 to 3.
Avoid any kind of marijuana smoking.
