Question: I am remission of breast cancer and the 2 chemo meds were Cytoxan and Taxotere. I did lose my hair but it is back. My question is, are there long term side affects from both or one of the meds named? I am 7 months remission of stage 4 breast and lung cancer. Skin conditions such as red burning palms, rashes on different parts of my body.

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. Side effects are low

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I understand your concerns. So in a stage 4 disease, you should take chemo qithout concerning for side effects as it will increase your life span. Long teem side effects occur at a veey low frequency and include neuropathy by taxotere and endoxan induced blood cancer. Neuropathy is slightly more but bloid cancer risk is low so you must not worry.
Thanks and regards
