Brief Answer:
The chances of pregnancy are very low.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
The chances of pregnancy are very low in her case as she had idoz 72( I-pill) within hour , so almost 96% effective.
What she had light spotting that is not her menses rather it is a withdrawal bleeding cause by I-pill( a side effect of I-pill) due to hormonal imbalance.
Usually after taking I-pill period may get delayed or come early by one week or two.
So she should wait for her menses but if she missed her period by one week than she should go for a home urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy ( though the chances are very low).
Hope it is clear all your doubt and useful too.
Feel free to discuss more questions.
Good luck.

Thanks Doc for the detailed guidance. My GF is experiencing stomach pain and weakness for last 1-2 days, is this normal? She also feels the same way which she generally experience at the starting of her periods. what does research says on when she can expect periods after taking idoz 72, or after having withdrawal bleeding as in with in how many days??

Brief Answer:
Period is not predictable.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
You are most welcome.
Yes, these symptoms are common after I-pill.
Usually period may come early or delayed by 7-10 days after taking I-pill.
But mostly it is unpredictable.
So she should wait and watch for it.
Good luck.

Thanks Dr XXXXXXX what do you suggest, when should she go for a pregnancy test to confirm considering she had last cycle on 29th May to 2nd XXXXXXX we had unprotected sex on 7th XXXXXXX and today i.e. 21st XXXXXXX there was light withdrawal bleeding. She generally have cycle of 30 days. Sorry to bother you but we both are very tensed. you already confirmed that chances are very rare-almost 96% it will not happen even then I believe we will be tension free only after she get her regular periods, hope you understand.
Please revert, thanking you in advance

Brief Answer:
7 days after her missed period date.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
You are most welcome.
Please do not take any stress and get her pregnancy test 7 days after her missed period date.
If she has a cycle of 30 days that means expected period date 28-29 XXXXXXX so she should go for a home urine pregnancy test on 6 th july( if she missed her date).
Hope it is useful and feel free to ask more questions because I can very well understand your situation.
She will get her period soon but she should not take any stress.
Good luck.
