What Are The Chances Of HIV Transmission After Non Penetrative Sex?

default
Posted on Sat, 4 Apr 2015
Question: Dear doc, I went to a spa yesterday and had a body to body massage. She was a young Asian girl and I do not know about her hiv/std status. She removed her clothes and started rubbing her breasts to my body and even touched her nipples with my unprotected erect penis. She kissed my body and nipples. She did not kiss any penis or balls. After that, she removed her panty, and sat on top of me. I am pretty sure there was no rubbing or penetration, but I am just worried what if her naked vagina would have touched by erect unprotected penis? Does it pose any risks for HIV/STD transmission? No sex of anykind happened, please help. I am also 90% sure that her vagina did not touch my penis or balls? But still I am worried. Please help.

Brief Answer:
I reassure you that there is no possibility of HIV in your case.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the possibility of various Sexually transmitted diseases especially in reference to HIV.

After analyzing your query with best diligence let me reassure you first that there is no possibility of HIV in your case.

To tell you simply regarding my firm statement : HIV spreads through blood to blood contact or by contact of genital fluids.

There is no reported case of HIV transmission by body to body massage. In this situation there is no exchange of fluids from genital area or any blood to blood contact.

To reassure you more In my clinical experience of multiple of years I have not found any case of HIV by body to body massage.

Though in very minority of cases one can have the possibility of herpes. This can also occur in case if the other person have any acute lesions of herpes. This too can happen with any cuts or abrasions over the genital or oral areas getting in contact with the same.

I reassure you fully that you are free from HIV.

I hope this information will relax your mind. I will be glad to answer any further queries.

Thanks Doctor, I was getting sick worried of this mistake that I did. One small clarification, what if my penis skin is broken and still it got in touch with infected vagina? Does it possess any risk? Actually I have a bad habit of masturbation, and due to dryness the foreskin on my penis could be broken. So in this case, does my yesterday's experience pose any risk? Doctor, I do not have any open wounds on my penis. In fact, I am pretty sure it was not even touched by my penis. It was just my worry that what if my penis got briefly touched to her wet vagina and it might got in touch with her bodiliy fluids. Do there is still any risk? I am worried. Please reply.

Brief Answer:
You don't have any chance of STDs including HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Dear young fellow,

Welcome back and thanks a lot for your details.

After analyzing the complete situation let me reassure you again that there are negligible chances or to say frankly hardly any chance of acquiring the infection. It is because of the fact that you don't have any cuts or open wounds on penis.

You didn't performed the act of intercourse and it was skin to skin touch only. The fear is just because of the fact that you have predicted that lady to be HIV positive or positive for one or other STDs. If you assume that the other person is HIV infected or active STDs then there are equal chances of her negative status also.

Even if the penis touches the vagina for brief period then also the chances are almost negligible.

Just calm your nerves as per my experience you don't have any chance of STDs including HIV.

I hope this information will help you. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.

"Wish you good health"

Regards,
Dr Sanjay Kumar Kanodia
