1. Cough
2. Dyspnea or difficulty in breathing
3. Hemoptysis or blood on coughing
4. Pleural effusion- collection of fluid in pleural cavity
5. Clubbing of finger nails
6. Weight loss
7. Decreased appetite or decreased hunger
8. Weakness
9. History of smoking

The above mentioned symptoms and signs can be present alone or in combination.

There is no first symptom.
Any of these symptoms can be the presenting symptom.
