Brief Answer:
Thyroid cancer

Detailed Answer:
The answer to this depends on the type of thyroid cancer. There are several types. To give you a rough idea about the most common type of thyroid cancer which is papillary thyroid cancer, the chances of it coming back after proper treatment and presumed cure are very small. However it depends on the individual situation too. For example, if the cancer had spread to neighboring lymph nodes before surgery and if all affected lymph nodes weren't removed during surgery then there is a greater chance of the cancer coming back. Moreover if it had spread to distant sites, a phenomenon called metastasis, and if radiation treatments to tackle that are not sufficient then it is likely to come back too
