If you pulled out before ejaculation and are sure that there was no semen inside, the chances of pregnancy are extremely low. The only possibility is accidental deposition of a drop or two inside before pulling out. The chances also depend upon the phase of the menstrual cycle. Chances of pregnancy are zero during the menstrual phase, extremely low till day 8-10 of periods and just before next period. The fertile days range from day 10-20 in women with regular cycles and peak fertile period is day 12-18. So check which day of the cycle it is if she has regular periods. If she is in safe days, do not do anything as chances are very low. If there is even a slightest of doubt that semen may have been deposited inside, and it is fertile period, it is better to take the I pill. The pill may cause nausea and vomiting and irregular bleeding or may delay the next period or it may come early also. So from day 12 onwards is the unsafe period and this is the peak fertile period. So if there is doubt of sperms inside the vagina, better take the I pill. Precum can cause pregnancy in the rare cases. If a man had sex then semen is there in the urethra. It gets flushed after the man urinates. If however the man has a second act of sex before flushing out the remaining semen from previous act, then only precum will contain sperms from the previous act and cause pregnancy.
