Two Days Ago I Took My Nieces' Small Children To

Question: Two days ago I took my nieces' small children to play at those trampoline games. I reluctantly joined them on the trampoline for about 5 minutes. When I was jumping I felt a bit of urine leak. Then I stopped. I was okay for the rest of the day and then the next day I was okay. But that evening I started to feel pain in my stomach and lower stomach area. It felt like I had alot of gas and could not let it out. It continued to get worse. I took a tablespoon of Pepto Bismol but nothing happened. I then waited a bit and took one Aleve. An hour later I felt a bit better. Later I took one Tylenol before I retired for bed. The pain persisted so about two hours later I took another Tylenol. The pain minimized enough for me to get some sleep. I slept sitting down. This morning the pain is minimal but continues. Did I twist my intestine? Did I cause a blackage in my intestines?

Brief Answer:
Bowel inflammation possible. Not related to trampoline.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I don't think the pain you are currently having at your lower stomach is related to twisting intestine.
The leakage you were having may possibly be caused by increased abdominal pressure due to jumping at trampoline. The pelvic floor mussels weaken as we age and this may have caused the leakage.
The pain that you are having may be related to large intestine issues possible bowel inflammation.
You may use simethicone to help relieve the gas pain.
Also try to avoid food which can trigger the symptoms such possibly alcohol, spicy food, legumes etc.

Hope I have answered the question.
