Brief Answer:
Diagnosis: Boil

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The lump in the armpit is likely a boil, which is an infection arising from hair follicles and oil glands. You can apply the bacitracin ointment thrice daily to the area. Also apply warm compress to relieve pain. Keep the area clean and dry. Since, you have been on treatment for multiple myeloma, there is a possibility if the infection worsening. So, it is also important to follow up with your primary provider/urgent care as soon as possible to get started on oral antibiotics for clearing up the infection faster .
You can also take Tylenol if pain is bothersome.
