Question: What is the protocol for withdrawing from Sinemet? I have already reduced dosage to 1/2 dose 3 times per day.

I have been on Sinemet for 45 days.

Highest dose was 25/100 three times per day.

Currently doing 1/2 dose three times per day.

I have Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and I was "freezing" and taking many small steps to begin walking. DR. called it a "Parkinsonism" and prescribed Sinemet.

I have been on 1/2 dose for 1 week.

1. Step down the frequency to same dosage twice daily for one week.
2. Then same dosage once daily for another week
