Brief Answer:
Genetical Melanosis with Xerosis and low weight: various suggestions.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome back to the forum and thanks for posting your details.

After analyzing the complete query I can make out following important things:

- Genetical Melanosis: The pigmentation at the facial areas is genetically determined. To tell you simply, the darkness is due to the activity of melanocytes in the skin. These melanocytes are the cells which regularly produces color/pigment known as melanin in the skin. These are superficially present in the upper skin known as epidermis. This is a tendency in ourselves to get higher activity of these melanocytes at the facial area according to our genetic make up. It is seen on higher side in people of Asiatic origin than in white population. The lips are also dark accordingly.

- The dryness condition is also known as Xerois. If it is very high then leads to condition called as Ichthyosis where other than dryness we find lot skin peeling off in form of scales. This dryness condition is preset in some persons due to less activity of oil glands. This is higher in winter season due to very low activity of these oil glands.
- Regarding low weight- your weight is bit lower than the weight which is actually required. As per your height, your present weight should be around 53-55 kg.

Now for the part of management:
-     For improving complexion and lip color: I prefer to use a cram containing Kojic acid and Licorice extract. It should be used at night time. Apply any of these creams in a very thin layer at night time only so that these should not be visible to naked eye. Apply at night time before sleeping.

-     Additionally a sunscreen lotion can be used daily to prevent the sun damage to the skin.

-     For the part of dry skin condition: An emollient lotion with lot of moisturizing factor can use just after bath when the skin I still wet. If used in wet skin the emollient lotion or cream gives best hydration. This can be sued for two times after bath.
-     For the improvement of weight – you require to have good nourishing diet multiple times a day. I can see that your diet is quite poor in terms of fruits or green vegetables and related things.
Good diet not only helps in renewing the skin better as well as works best to protect our skin. You can eat a lot fruits and green leafy vegetables with lot of protein diet in your daily schedule.

You can meet a dermatologist to get proper further guidance to have earliest and best results.

I hope these informations will help you in getting fair skin. I will be glad to reply any further queries.

I wish best and early recovery,

With regards,

Brief Answer:
cream with Kojic acid on one night and Licorice extract on the other.

Detailed Answer:
Dear young lady,

Welcome back to the forum and thanks for your further follow up.

In my patients I generally use cream with Kojic acid (such as Clealrz Ultra) on one night and another cram containing Licorice extract (such as Melaglow) on other night. These are steroid free creams and do not have any side effects.

For sunscreen I generally prescribe a gel based sunscreen (such as Photostable lotion). You can meet a dermatologist and take further guidance to get best results.

I hope these informations will help you in getting fair skin. I will be glad to reply any further queries.
