Question: My balance is bad. I'm weak and no real pain ,shaky and blood in my urine. I have cysts on my liver. They were determined not to be a problem. I abuse alcohol, but I haven't had any in 5 days. 60 Years of age, slightly over Waite. Currently taking , Simastatin,40mg, Lisinopril-HCTZ, 20/12.5, Amitriptyline,50 mg and Sertraline,100 mg.
All once a day. The Amitripyline is for sleep. I worked nights for 26 years.

Brief Answer:
Simvastatin induced myopathy

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

It seems like you have multiple issues and it needs immediate attention.

1. Imbalance

Imabalance can be due to many causes
- Simvastain can cause muscle weakness and lowering the dose/stopping the drug can help improve weakness
-HCTZ can cause electrolyte imblance especially low sodium and potassium both of which can cause weakness. Please get your electrolyte checked immediately
- Combination of sertaline and amytriptyline can cause low sodium leading to weakness

2. Blood in urine

Blood in urine needs immediate attention. I strongly recommend getting a urine routine done to looks for urinary tract infection and ultrasound abdomen to see for renal stones or cysts than can be causing blood in urine.

Please approach a GP immediately, your current condition needs immediate attention and cannot be manged without running tests

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
