Brief Answer:
Salicylate based cream.Anti inflammatory.Excision

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I went through the query, attachment and understood your concern.

Usually wart will disappear with application of salicylate based cream. But if infected or diabetic it may take longer time.

I can observe redness around the wart and that may be due to inflammation. So use anti inflammatory drug alond with application of salicylate based cream or duct tape. If it does not help then it should be surgically removed.

So for now you can take anti-inflammatory drug and application of salicylate based cream as explained. And consult your surgeon once for examination and if required excision.

I hope this information answered your query and helps you. Feel free to ask for any further query and I will be glad to answer them.

Wish you good health.

Regards

I do not feel its infected and I am not a diabetic. What kind of anti-inflammatory drug can I get over the counter without a prescription? Any other topical medication you can recommend? Do you feel this is a surgical case based on the previous pictures sent? What can I do to prevent spreading when at a water park?

Brief Answer:
Ibuprofen, salicylate based cream, examination

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If not infected and non diabetic then the healing will be faster.

Over the counter anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen, aceclofenac or diclofenac will help you.

Any topical medication with salicylate base like wart cap can be applied as this help in dissolving the wart.

Surgery depends on examination, its depth and size. So examination is required. If surgery, it will be a minor surgery and needs examination for its decision.

Usually wart does not spread unless infected or any insult. So keep the area clean and don't handle it or put any pressure.

I hope this information answered your queries and helps you.
Wish you faster recovery.

Regards
