The problem seems to lie in the inner ears.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. The symptoms like vertigo, tinnitus and loss of balance are usually due to the vestibulocochlear apparatus (organ of hearing and balance) of our inner ear. A ENT checkup should help in pinpointing toward the underlying cause. Kindly bear with it till then. Taking tablets with Ginkgo biloba extracts may gradually help.

Do vestibular disorders cause mood problems? I feel a fear of going out, and miserable because of fatigue

Answered by Dr. Prof. Kunal Saha (7 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Anxiety predisposes you to mood problems.

Detailed Answer:
Vestibular disorders do not cause mood problems but excessive anxiety regarding the same indeed predisposes you to mood problems and the miserable sense that you have mentioned. You need to relax. If you cannot, some simple medicines like alprazolam might help. But these are prescription medicines and you need your doctor to write them down for you.
