Question: I have tiny bumps on back of my hands not the palm of my hand and its itchy. Had this problem for a week now. I applied rubbing alcohol and yeast cream and still itchy. I also work at nursing home and wear gloves. Don't know if its scabies or from the gloves.

Brief Answer:
Itchy rash on dorsal side of hand.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.

I have gone through your query. Scabies is spreading type and it wont be present just in hands. There will be burrows like rash also.

Your condition is most likely allergic to gloves. It can be latex allergy if it is made of latex. In such case you should avoid further wearing it. Fungal infection should be excluded also. For allergy I advise creams with corticosteroids like hydrocortisone. But in case a doubt about fungal infection can use cream with combination of antifungal like miconazole and a corticosteroid. If severe itching is there then I recommend antihistamine tablets like levocetirizine also.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.

Thanks
