Brief Answer:
Could be associated with the concussion

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I am extremely sorry for the short delay in the reply. I was on call at my hospital and it was extremely busy.

Here is what I think

There are three possibilities on why the temple is paining. 1. Could be related to the concussion 2. Migraine 3. Sinusitis

I have seen 3 of my patients have chronic headaches ( even the one you are suffering falls under the category of headaches) following a concussion, the pathophysiology of it is not known. Here is what you should do

Migraines and sinusitis is less likely as you dont have other symptoms which suggests the same.

1. Get a CT brain done, sometimes a subdural hematoma develops known as chonic SDH which goes unnoticed for several years
2. For now take tab acetaminophen twice a day for the pain. This is the best drug for this type of pain

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Regards
