Brief Answer:
you need not worry much

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to HCM forum.
Thanks for posting to us.

I have gone through your query and understand your query.

I think you need not worry much about lymphoma. The points against are, lymphoma is usually ,though not always, associated with systemic symptoms like anorexia, fever etc, and usually causes lymph node enlargement at more than one site. Also, lymphoma with peripheral lymph node involvement (NHL) is not common in your age.
In blood routine there will be increased ESR and altered differential count most of the times.

It is not possible to conclude with palpation alone(though lymphomatous nodes are said to have a rubbery feeling).

Retro auricular lymph node enlargement of long duration is usually caused by chronic infections like dandruff of the scalp, and respond to treatment of underlying condition.

In short, in my opinion this need not be worried.
Anyhow, if no other cause is found and the node is really enlarged (just being palpable may not indicate enlargement) ,you can discuss with your doctor and get it removed for biopsy which will make the situation crystal clear.

Hope this will answer your query.
Be free ask further questions if any.
Wishing you good health.
Thank you.
