Brief Answer:
Can be allergic reaction..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain periodic swelling of the lip is most commonly due to allergic reaction that can be due to some food..
It can also be due to any medicine, bug bite etc..

As of now she can take anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Benadryl and do cool compresses over the lips..

But as it is recurring symptom you can also consult an Allergist and get evaluated and he can do allergic tests to confirm the exact cae of the symptoms and treat her accordingly..

Any further questions are welcome..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
