Brief Answer:
Evaluation / test necessary.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

In my opinion, you might be having allergic rhino sinusitis. And over the counter drugs are usually antihistamines which are less effective.

I would order set of tests including nasal endoscopy and CT scan of sinus to rule out nasal / sinus pathology. Your local ENT surgeon will know about these tests. It would be worthwhile to consult one and discuss about these tests. Following tests you might be started on nasal spray + antihistamines + leukotriene antagonist in cases of nasal allergy. Antibiotics will be necessary in cases of infection.

Hope this helps.

Regards
